The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University are recruiting two Mathematics Education Co-researchers. You will support a project that revolves around the challenges and opportunities presented by the interconnected nature of mathematical concepts within the education system. In mathematics education, students often progress through various stages, from elementary to advanced levels, and build their knowledge incrementally. However, the curriculum is not always designed to explicitly highlight the interdependencies and relationships among different mathematical topics. This role aims to explore this in depth.
This role is part of the Student Campus Partnership (SCP) scheme and is from mid-January to the end of March 2024 for 5 hours per week. This role offers full remote working.
